Unity. Compassion. Diligence. Professionalism.
Mores Creek Ambulance is a local volunteer-based organization committed to providing emergency medical service with consideration and compassion for our community. We have been actively aiding our friends and neighbors since 1990, at which time our organization consisted of only 13 volunteers and an "ambulance," which was actually a battered old van kept in a tin shed.
Since then, we have expanded to include 20 EMTs, 1 EMR, and 3 drivers and we boast a fully operational fire and EMS station, which houses a 2009 ambulance.
Our service area extends from the high bridge over Lucky Peak Reservoir (the Ada/Boise County boundary) on Highway 21, to a half-mile past mile marker 29 on Highway 21 and from Bogus Basin to Atlanta.
Mores Creek Ambulance is one of several ambulance services of East Boise County EMS; our sister units are located in Idaho City, Placerville, and Lowman. When necessary, we provide back up for other units and they for us.
Our units are all EMT-B certified, which means they are licensed in Idaho and have obtained the national EMS certification required for the job.
If you live in or around the Mores Creek area, consider joining our staff of volunteers to better aid your community.
